The INDIAN SCHOOL OF SKILLS DEVELOPMENT, is an autonomous and non-profit making institute established in the year 2014 by CHANAKYA FOUNDATION, an organisation registered by Govt. under S. R. Act 1860.ISSD Running Distance mode Courses from N0v,2015 and Regular Mode Courses from JUly,2014.CHANAKYA FOUNDATION is dedicated for the cause of social and educational development. ISSD provide fee concessions (100%) in its Skill Development Programmes to Physical Disabile persons.
ISSD conduct autonomous programmes (Certificate/Diploma/Awarness Programes) through Distance Learning Mode (correspondence courses). ISSD aims to provide quality education in basic/specialised/advance areas of commerce, Law, Humanity, IT & Management including Retail Management, Medical Law, HRM, IR. (Certificate in NTT course shall be treated as regular only).
ISSD is a non-university institution. All program of ISSD are autonomous and do not come under perview of UGC/AICTE. ISSD award only Certificate, Diploma. All Programmes Pass by Executive Council of Chanakya Foundation (Registered NGO under Society Registration Act, 1860).
Admission Cycle
Whole year Student can appear exam after completing course duration, like Certificate course Student can appear after completing 6 months from Registration.
Examination
ISSD Provides Two type of Session End Examination-
1) Centre Examination : Examination of all the courses is normally held at Lucknow Centre. Examinations are also held at the authorised ISSD examination centres throughout India subject to the availability of sufficient number of examinees at the given place.
2) Online Examination for the benefit of the ISSD students the examinations can be administered online. Students of distance learning mode can take online examination anywhere in the India using a computer, Internet access and Webcam.
Evaluation
30 % Marks Based on Term End Assignment and 70 % on Written Examination. Assignment can be Submited in Hard Copy or Softcopy .
The Executive Council
The HOD s of Departments who shall be members of the Executive Council. Minimum 5 members shall be in Executive Council. The Executive Council may, by resolution passed by a majority of its total membership delegate such of its powers as it deems fit to an officer or authority of the University subject to such conditions as may be specified in the resolution. The meetings of the Executive Council shall be called under the directions of the Director. The Executive Council shall obtain the opinion of the Finance Officer before considering any proposal involving financial implications.

THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL
The Academic Council shall have the following powers, namely-
(i) To scrutinize and make its recommendations on proposals submitted by the Departments
through the Faculties in regard to the courses of study and to recommend principles and criteria on which examiners and the inspectors may be appointed, for consideration of the Executive Council.
(ii)To report on any matter referred or entrusted to it by the Executive Council.
(iii) To advise the Executive Council in regard to the recognition of the diplomas and Certificate Courses.
(iv) To advise the Executive Council in regard to the qualifications required to be possessed by persons imparting instruction on particular subjects for the various diplomas and Certificates of the Institute And
(v) To perform in relation to academic matters all such duties and to do all such acts as may be necessary for the proper carrying out of the provisions of the Bylaws of Chanakya Foundation, Under SR Act, 1860.
The meetings of the Academic Council shall be called under the directions of the Asst. Director. The Senior Faculties of each Department who shall be members of the Executive Council. Minimum 5 members shall be in Executive Council.

THE FINANCE COMMITTEE
The annual accounts and the financial estimates of the Institute prepared by the Finance Committee and submitted to the Executive Council for approval. The Finance Committee shall meet at least twice every year to examine the accounts and to scrutinize proposals for expenditure. Director who shall keep the minutes of all such meetings.

THE EXAMINATION COMMITTEE
